The sport of Beep Kickball is a fun and growing team sport that STRIVE4YOU is excited to offer as one of our premier annual tournaments. We welcome teams and individual players from across the country to join us for a day at the ballpark as we go back to our childhood and explore this new adaptive twist on an old beloved activity!

How is Beep Kickball played?

• Played with a ten” soft foam beeping ball on a flat grassy field
• Just 2 4ft. buzzing bases, first and third • No pitcher, no throwing the ball, no running around all the bases
• Each team has five players
• All players wear a blindfold to level the playing field
• Player kicks the ball and runs to the base that is buzzing • If the kicker tags the base before the fielders pick up the ball, the kicker scores a run
• If the fielders pick up the ball before the kicker tags the base, the kicker’s out
• Three outs, 6 innings, GAME OVER!

Entrance Fee: $25 Per non- veteran player/Coach, FREE to Veteran Players/Coach.

Veterans Participate For FREE!

Thanks to generous funding through the VA FY21 Adaptive Sports Grant from the VA National Sports & Special Events, we are happy to offer this event to disabled veterans free of charge including registration fees, travel, lodging, per diems for meals, and ground transportation. This opportunity is on a first come first serve bases while funding lasts. You may register on your own or for assistance or questions contact the event organizer(s) for more information!

Registration Options

You can register as a single player (Pool Player) or as a team of up to six (5 players& 1 Coach). Registration deadline is September 10th.

Tournament Lodging

STRIVE4YOU has secured hotel arrangements for ALL out-of-town tournament participants at the La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Goodlettsville 

, 120 South Cartwright Court, Goodlettsville, Tennessee 37072. The room rate is $ per room per night. Rooms are available on a first come first serve basis. Rooms can be reserved from March through April at this rate. Rooms must be booked by April .

For Veterans STRIVE4YOU will reserve your room for you once you register. If a veteran registers as a pool player, you will be paired with a fellow veteran to share a room.

There is a restaurant on site and within walking distance to the hotel. There is no hotel shuttle available to and from the BNA international airport. There will however be a shuttle from the hotel to and from the ballpark for the event.

Meals

STRIVE4You will provide lunch during the event on Saturday. Snacks, waters, and Gatorade will also be available throughout the day as well. All other meals are the responsibility of the participant. Again, there is a restaurant in the parking lot of the hotel and others are within walking distance.

The hotel is also providing continental breakfast which is included in your stay.

Attire

For this inaugural event teams are encouraged to wear jerseys or t-shirts of the same color, but they are not required. The only real requirement is to wear tennis shoes. No open toed footwear will be allowed for safety purposes.

Blindfolds or goggles will be worn by players during play. If players have their own personal eyewear, such as sleep shades, we encourage you to bring your own for sanitation purposes. STRIVE4YOU will provide disposable sleep shades for those that do not have their own.
