WHO CAN PARTICIPATE? 

Anyone with low vision and blind supporters of all abilities can be a participant or a sponsor.

 

WHEN? 

Do your 5K any day/time beginning on National White Cane Safety Day, October 15 through November 12th, 2024.

National White Cane Safety Day which celebrates the achievements of people who are blind or have low vision with the cane being a symbol of independence.

SPECIAL Announcement: Kick off your 5k experience by starting your first mile with us after STRIVER Day on the campus of TSB @ 4:30 – 5pm

 

Registration Fees

Participant registration fee/donation is $50. Sponsors can match registrants’ participation fee or another donation amount.

 

How can I participate?

Participants engage in a virtual run/walk for 3.1 miles in a location and time of their choice. And then post about the experience to inspire and support others.

Whether you join other participants in your community, friends & family during trick-or-treating on Halloween, or in your home on a treadmill to complete your 5K it is Your choice!
